Lisa Rayner is a do-it-yourselfer who writes about sustainable food practices as well as permaculture gardening and weaving.
She grinds flour by hand, bakes sourdough bread, cooks food in a solar oven, and cans food. She also spins yarn, designs, weaves and sews her own clothing and makes beaded items, among other things.
Rayner is also a social justice and environmental activist. She walks and bicycles everywhere in Santa Fe, NM. and rarely drives.
